LIHEAP

The Department of Public Welfare provides utility assistance through the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). One may apply through services at the DPW home COMPASS website, or call 215-560-1583

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)  (Food Stamps)

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) is the new name for the Food Stamp program. This program provides funding for individuals from low-income households in Pennsylvania to food.  A debit card with a fixed amount of funds is provided to the recipient which can be used at grocery stores to buy food. Individuals may apply through COMPASS or by completing an application.  Current SNAP income limits and benefits can be found by clicking here.

Autism Mini-Grant

The “Autism Mini-Grant Program” through the Bureau of Autism Services (BAS), may offer mini grants of up to $500.00 to support individuals and families that are living with ASD.
