Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities Waivers

Services offered under the Person/Family Directed Support Waiver and the Consolidated Waiver are identical except the Consolidated Waiver offers residential supports and allows a higher level of expenditures.  These two waivers are available to persons who are medically needy, aged 3 and older with a primary diagnosis of mental retardation.  For an excellent comparison of adult waivers, their eligibility requirements and services, please refer to the following chart from the Department of Public Welfare: Autism Support Services Comparison Chart.
